  • Adventure-Based Learning Experiences

Adventure-based learning experiences promote self-confidence and self-esteem and improve critical life skills such as teamwork and leadership. These adventures are valued as an important tool for personal physical, emotional and social growth. Currently, Baltimore Lab School offers several sessions of Rock Climbing and Swimming Adventures for students 6-18 years old.

Rock Climbing Adventures is held at Earth Treks in Timonium on Tuesdays and Swimming Adventures is held at the Weinberg Family Center Y on 33rd Street on Mondays and Fridays. For more information about dates, session availability, and rates, please contact our Outdoor Education Coordinator, Patti Child, at 410-261-5500 or patricia.child@baltimorelabschool.org.

  • Athletics

Students ages 6-18 years old have the opportunity to challenge themselves, engage in appropriate competition, and hone their social skills by joining one of our interscholastic sports teams. Baltimore Lab School is a member of the Chesapeake Conference for Interscholastic Sports. Depending on their grade level, our students can choose to participate in basketball, tennis, cross-country, track and field, rockclimbing or swimming. Our sports teams practice and compete after school, Monday-Friday, 3:30pm-5:30pm. For more information, please contact our Athletic Director, Dan McIntyre, at 410-261-5500 or daniel.mcintyre@baltimorelabschool.org.

  • Clubs

Each year, Baltimore Lab School has several different after school clubs. Clubs are driven by student and faculty interests and we encourage students to explore their interests and create new clubs with a faculty or staff member! This school year, we are offering Anime Club, Spanish Culture Club with Cooking, Zumba, Crafts for Good, Basketball Club, Art Club, Tae Kwon Do, Girl Scouts, Chess Club, and Dance Club.

For more information about each club or to register your student for a club, please download the After School Clubs Permission Form.
