LEARNING & FUN CONTINUE AFTER SCHOOL
Baltimore Lab School offers several after school programs including Dragon Club (After Care), After School Clubs, Robotics, Adventure-Based Learning Experiences, and Athletics. Convenient for working parents and stimulating for students, our after school programs are popular with students of all ages.
Dragon Club is after school care for students 6-18 years old. The program runs on regularly-scheduled school days from 3:30-5:30PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 12:30-5:30PM on Wednesdays. Students are given time to start their homework, play board games, watch movies, do arts and crafts, and play outside.

This year, clubs include Anime Club, Arts & Crafts Club, Arts & Service Club, Italian Culture Club (Fall Semester only), Central Asian Culture Club (Spring Semester only), Lego Club, Literary Magazine, Magic: The Gathering Club, Video Club (WBLS), Robotics Club (vaccinate students only due to shared materials), & Yoga/Mindfulness Club. ADVENTURE-BASED LEARNING EXPERIENCES
Adventure-based learning experiences promote self-confidence and self-esteem and improve critical life skills such as teamwork and leadership. These adventures are valued as an important tool for personal physical, emotional and social growth. Currently, Baltimore Lab School offers several sessions of Swimming Adventures for students 12-18 years old (students must be vaccinated to participate).
Swimming Adventures is held at the Weinberg Family Center Y on 33rd Street on Mondays. For more information about dates, session availability, and rates, please contact Patti Child at email@example.com or 410-261-5500.
Students ages 6-18 years old have the opportunity to challenge themselves, engage in appropriate competition, and hone their social skills by joining one of our interscholastic sports teams. Baltimore Lab School is a member of the Chesapeake Conference for Interscholastic Sports. Depending on their grade level, our students can choose to participate in basketball, tennis, cross-country, track and field, rock climbing, or swimming. Our sports teams practice and compete after school, Monday-Friday, 3:30PM-5:30PM. For questions about sports availability during the 2021-2022 school year, please contact Evan Parker at firstname.lastname@example.org or 410-261-5500.
