AFTER SCHOOL ATHLETICS at BLS

Baltimore Lab School offers a variety of athletic opportunities. Starting in Middle School, students have the opportunity to challenge themselves, engage in appropriate competition, and hone their social skills by joining one of our interscholastic sports teams. Depending on their grade level, our students can choose to participate in basketball, bowling, a running team that practices cross country and track skills, a soccer/ flag-football/ kickball team, a disc golf or traditional golf team, outdoor recreation team, bowling team, and a swim team. 

Our sports teams practice and compete after school, usually on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and/or Fridays from 3:30PM - 5:00PM (days may vary depending on the sport your child chooses). No sports take place on our Wednesday half-day. All sports will be dependent on enrollment for the 2023-2024 season. Students must have a signed Athletic Code of Conduct and a Record of Physical Examination on file before they can start their respective season. The Athletic Code of Conduct is valid for the current school year, so no additional copies will be needed for multiple sports. The Record of Physical Examination is valid for one calendar year.
